What founding participation means
A commissioned publishing process—not a self-service app or access to unfinished software.
Founding projects help refine adaptive intake, family coordination, editorial checkpoints, archive export, closeout, and physical production. Each accepted family still receives a written scope and a real commissioned work.
Candid process feedback is welcome. A testimonial, public family name, photograph, excerpt, or portfolio page is never assumed; any public use requires separate, specific permission.

- They are Douglas's own family pilots, used to establish and refine the studio's process and standards. The four open places are future founding commissions receiving real editorial and publishing work under a written scope.
- Does every project start immediately?
- No. Start windows are scheduled so contribution rounds, manuscript development, review, and closeout can receive appropriate attention.
- Is there a standard public price?
- No. During the founding stage, scope and fee are prepared privately after the Project Fit Conversation.
