You may begin a gift inquiry, but the recipient must agree before a private project is opened or their story is collected.
You can begin a conversation about funding a commission for a parent, relative, or another family. The people whose stories will be collected need to agree to participate, and payment does not automatically grant access to someone else’s private material. We discuss recipient interest, permissions, coordination, and funding as part of the custom scope before the commission begins.
