Privacy, stewardship, and publication · KCQ-027

Can our Chronicle remain private, and who controls publication?

Yes. A project may remain private to the family, and public use requires separate authorization.

Kin & Chronicle’s V1 default is family-owned publication. The family controls its publishing account and receives royalties directly when publication is part of the plan. Kin & Chronicle may prepare production files, metadata, proofing, and agreed assistance, but does not assume indefinite royalty accounting or listing administration. A public project page, excerpt, photograph, testimonial, or portfolio example requires specific permission. A family may choose private copies without a public release under the agreed plan.
