The books and editorial work
Can we use photographs, documents, and recordings?
Yes. These can be part of both the Chronicle’s story and the source archive.
Family photographs, letters, certificates, newspaper clippings, recipes, recordings, and other records can give a story texture and context. We discuss relevance, condition, permissions, and how material will be contributed. Selected items may appear in the Chronicle with captions or source notes; the archive preserves the organized record behind the finished work. Handling originals, scanning, and digitization are confirmed in the commission scope.
