AI, evidence, and uncertain history · KCQ-010
Does AI invent missing family history?
No. A missing fact remains missing unless a source supplies it.
AI and contextual research must not manufacture an ancestor, date, motive, event, quotation, or relationship to make the Chronicle feel complete. The system may identify a gap and propose a question. The family may answer, provide a source, ask another authorized contributor through an agreed process, or leave it unresolved. Creative reconstruction or invention belongs only in a separately disclosed creative continuation, not in the Chronicle.
