Beginning and commissioning · KCQ-028

How do we begin?

Begin with a no-obligation Project Fit Conversation. You do not need to upload the family archive first.

The first conversation covers whom the family hopes to preserve, why the project matters now, who may participate, what kinds of material may exist, the likely privacy posture, and whether the service appears to fit. Sensitive records and source uploads are not required. After a promising fit, Douglas prepares a private Family Project Plan describing the proposed scope and next decisions. A commission begins only after the necessary scope, agreement, consent, stewardship, and project controls are in place.

Your family will be different

Begin with fit, not an archive upload.

A Project Fit Conversation is a high-level, no-obligation way to ask whether a Chronicle commission could responsibly serve your family.
