Family participation
How does a family participate?
Families contribute in manageable rounds rather than being asked to organize the whole archive or write the book themselves.
Participation can include conversations, answering a focused question, identifying a photograph, sharing a document, clarifying a relationship, or reviewing a passage. We agree the contribution methods and review plan with the family before intake. A family coordinator normally helps arrange introductions and decisions; the studio carries the editorial work. Not everything has to arrive at once.
