Understanding the service · KCQ-003

Who is Kin & Chronicle for?

It is for families who know important voices, photographs, explanations, and stories may not remain available forever—and want help turning them into a finished family work.

The usual first caller is a family Steward: often an adult child, spouse, sibling, grandchild, niece, nephew, or cousin who feels responsible for making the project happen. An older Storyteller may also begin a commission for their own family. The service is especially useful when the material is scattered, several people hold different parts of the story, and the family wants a finished book and usable record rather than another unfinished folder.

Begin with fit, not an archive upload.

A Project Fit Conversation is a high-level, no-obligation way to ask whether a Chronicle commission could responsibly serve your family.
