Beginning and commissioning · KCQ-029

Why are prices not listed, and how is a commission priced?

Each family’s scope is different, so Kin & Chronicle prepares a private Family Project Plan and proposal rather than publishing a generic package or subscription price.

Work can change with the number of people and branches, source volume and condition, contextual research, manuscript and image plan, review complexity, physical production, publication assistance, and archive closeout. Those factors are discussed before commitment. Kin & Chronicle does not currently publish standard prices, offer website checkout, or sell an AI tier. Any fee, expenses, milestones, exclusions, and change-order rules belong in the private proposal and agreement.

Begin with fit, not an archive upload.

A Project Fit Conversation is a high-level, no-obligation way to ask whether a Chronicle commission could responsibly serve your family.
